Exercisabilities was founded in 2011 by Melanie Brennan, PT, DPT. Dr. Brennan identified a problem that needed solved – people of all ages with neurologic or medical conditions that effected their physical, cognitive, or social well-being in Southeast MN needed a place to go in the community where they could continue their rehabilitation after they finished their acute care at Mayo Clinic. They needed a place that was accessible, had staff who understood their needs with multiple different disciplines available, and had the right kind of equipment to help them achieve their goals. After working at Mayo Clinic for 11 years in acute rehabilitation, Melanie conceptualized a place that would meet all of these needs. She set to work to build Exercisabilities. Over the years it has grown into a full service rehabilitation and fitness facility and now includes nutrition services, pediatric services, pain management, orthopedic physical therapy, and so much more. Select the rehabilitation or medical fitness tab to see all of our offerings that are fully accessible and strive to bring both able-bodied and disability therapy and exercise services all under one roof for a lifelong approach to wellness. These videos below show unique approaches to the care that we deliver, our staff hard at work, and our clients enjoying the benefits of having access to such a state of the art facility. Exercisabilities is proud to be a nonprofit, and strives to assure that our services and resources are available to all people that desire to work with us.
